Terms of Service
1. Agreement
Madic (madic.ai) is operated by Michael Anthony Studios (“Madic,” “we,” “us”). By adding Madic to your Slack workspace or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you act for a business, that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Madic is a Slack-native AI teammate for small businesses. It processes requests you make in Slack, gathers context from the channels it is invited to, and can perform tasks in third-party apps you connect (such as email, CRM, and social accounts). How Madic handles data is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others;
- use the service to send spam, harass, or abuse anyone;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- use the service in a way that violates the terms of the third-party platforms it connects to (including Slack and the apps you connect).
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
4. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
- Paid plans and credit purchases are billed through Stripe. Madic never stores your card numbers.
- Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Usage is metered in credits as described on our pricing page and in your dashboard.
5. AI-generated output
Madic uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and propose actions. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them and before approving any action Madic proposes.
6. Approvals and actions in connected apps
Write actions in connected apps (such as sending an email or posting content) require user approval, according to your workspace’s approval settings. When you approve an action, you authorize Madic to perform it on your behalf, and you are responsible for the actions you approve.
7. Third-party services
Apps you connect to Madic are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them through Madic does not change your agreements with those providers.
8. Your content
You retain all rights to the content and data you provide to Madic. You grant us permission to process it as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
You may stop using Madic and remove it from your workspace at any time, and may request deletion of your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms or where required to protect the service or other users.
10. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Madic and Michael Anthony Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at madic.ai/terms. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
